Hi, it’s Cleary. George is right about just this one thing. We are dedicated to helping cure CMT as soon as possible. That means we need support from you and all of our friends and family.

Cleary only listens to me when I am right. Fortunately, I am right all of the time, something I have to remind her of on a daily basis. Being right is, I think, the very foundation of any successful marriage. Not that this sits well with her. In fact, she’d rather swallow a keg of nails than admit that I am right.
When you have been married for over 30 years, you learn that delusion is the cornerstone of bliss.
That’s where you come in. I have told her that my friends will contribute more to CMTRF than her friends. If for some reason this does not happen, the axis of the universe will tilt perceptibly and domestic balance in our time will cease to exist. You do not want to be responsible for this existential crisis.
In other words, we don’t want to hurt his feelings.
