Hey! My name is Sharmili Karthik, and I’m a rising junior at Middleton highschool! CMT is a neuromuscular disorder that can hinder one’s ability to do even the simplest tasks such as walking and using your hands. It can also create a situation of constant pain, none of which the affected person can control as the disease is inherited. I chose to join the CMT teen change team because I felt the least I could do was to was to help these people in whatever way I could, and I’d encourage any and everyone to donate!!
