The past 12 months have been hard on our youth. Depression among teens has skyrocketed, and if they don't get help with handling their feelings in a healthy way, negative and even violent behavior will likely follow. Our kids need caring mentors to help them face their challenges. Youth for Christ offers this kind of help and that is why I have supported this event for the past 5 years. The funds raised go toward helping to Stop Youth Violence in all its forms - bullying, fighting, shootings, and sexual assault.
