Jameson’s Journey

I am Marissa, my son Jameson was born almost completely deaf and has been seeing specialists at DuPont since just 1 month old! He just turned 4 so to say the hospital has become a second home is an understatement. He has had MANY tests, studies and evaluations and it was decided that in order for him to have the best chance of hearing he should have cochlear implant surgery.
 

Jameson underwent surgery with Dr. Parkes (just one of our many buddies) and with the help of his amazing team has been slowly learning to hear! It's truly amazing how much support and love is offered and provided for all of the children treated there. It hasn't been an easy road for Jameson, there have been ups, downs and lots of set backs but no one EVER gave up on him. 
 

We participate in this walk every year with family and friends by our side but really it's just a small token of appreciation we can provide for all of the amazing things DuPont has given Jameson.
