From the moment Keith Elliott came to me with his "let's put on a show" idea to benefit AIDS relief, I have been involved. At first it was just a show because we had to do something. We all felt so helpless without even the hope of a cure to this mysterious killer. My job was to get what we believed to be the best companies in Chicago. It must have worked because we sold out each year and we expanded our services to cover the needs of the entire dance community covering all issues that affect the lives of the dance community. It is the best thing, in a career that spanned many experiences, that I have ever done.
