Chicago Dance Health Fund (CDHF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides financial relief for preventative health care and critical medical needs for Chicago dance industry professionals. As a CDHF board member, I'm honored to support the CDHF mission and raise money for our organization's biggest fundraiser, Dance for Life (DFL). 

DFL is our annual performance and benefit event, taking place at 6PM on Saturday, August 10th at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. Over the past 33 years, DFL has showcased more than 50 Chicago-based dance companies, as well as numerous choreographers, artists, and designers. This year's performance will include pieces from The Joffrey Ballet, Giordano Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance, and more! 

In exchange for your charitable donation of $350, you will receive a ticket to the DFL performance and access to the DFL After Party at VenueSIX10, steps away from the Auditorium Theatre. The performance ticket and ticket notification will be coming from the Auditorium Theatre sometime before August 1st, so please do not worry if you do not receive something immediately from the Auditorium Threatre regarding your ticket. If you would rather send me your payment for the cost of your ticket via Venmo, please let me know and I will handle your seating assignment and transfer the funds to CDHF.

• Is my donation tax deductible?  Yes, up to the full extent of the law.  CDHF is a non-profit, all donations will be recognized and an official acknowledgement letter from CDHF will be sent to the donor separately. If the donation is for tickets, the Fair Market Value for the performance and After Party tickets is $250, which means $100 of the $350 you donated will be tax deductible. 
• When do I receive my tickets?  Tickets will be pulled at the Auditorium Theatre Box Office sometime before August 1st. Your should receive an email from the theatre sometime before August 1, if you do not have your tickets by then, please contact me immediately at (704) 280-0286
• Will I be sitting with my friends and family? Yes, everyone who makes a donation for tickets from a host committee member, you will be seated in the same section as your family and friends.
• What is the dress attire for the evening? It is summer chic. This is not a formal black tie event, it is summer and it is a party! Creativity is encouraged :)
• Do my guests need tickets for the After Party? No, I will have wristbands for you the night of DFL. The wristband will give them access to the party. 
• Will there be food at the After Party?  Yes, there will be food and beverages in abundance at the After Party, along with lots of dancing!
• Can people make a donation if they aren't planning to attend the performance/After Party? Yes, anyone can make a donation of any amount to your fundraising page. All donations count towards my $5,000 fundraising goal.
