Donate to raise money for pediatric cancer research (while also making me look like Walmart-brand Mr. Clean):

As you may or may not know, my dear friend Kasey Altman is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. She recently shaved her head (and somehow still looks fabulous). I am asking for donations to this fund so that I can make a gift in her honor. If we hit our fundraising goal before December 5th, I will shave my head to match Kasey and post the process to Instagram. My roommates are already foaming at the mouth to make me bald. Whether you want to see me hairless or you want to donate to a great cause or you also adore Kasey, please consider donating. It'll be fun and all the cool kids are doing it!

Why this charity:

She is asking for donations to this organization because, although she is not quite a pediatric patient, her cancer typically presents in children. 

What if we absolutely blow this fundraising goal out of the water:

I fully expect that we will. BUT, if we make it to $15,000, I will up the ante. Not only will I shave my head, I will do so before my next medical school interview on December 4th.
