Hi there! I wear the proud title of "Arthur's mom".

We found out that our baby boy had a heart condition (AVSD) at Sick Kids in Toronto when I was 25 weeks pregnant. Days after Arthur's birth, it was also confirmed that he has a diagnosis of Down syndrome. Since then, he has proven himself to be a fighter; he spent 11 days in the NICU, traveled to Toronto multiple times, undergone every test under the sun and conquered open heart surgery at just four months old! Arthur has also proven himself to be a hard worker; he is motivated to hit milestones and it is a big celebration every time he does! His family and therapists are so proud of him, and a super hero themed first birthday party was very fitting for Arthur.

Arthur is absolutely perfect and we are so happy he chose us as his parents. He has taught us so much already about celebrating our differences. We are so excited to give him a life filled with inclusivity and opportunity.
