As most of you know, but some may not my Brother Kris passed away from an overdose on December 13, 2016 at the age of 44. Kris was a funny, genuine, tell it like it is, sarcastic, and quit witted guy. He also made sure he aggravated his little sister every chance he got. Kris had his battles after his first back surgery and started taking opiates shortly after. He also started at the same time being perscribed an anti anxiety medication called Xanex. My brother began what I would call abusing these two drugs until he got pulled into a downward spiral. Kris was found in his car on the side of the road and after doing a toxicology report he was found to have not only Opiates and Xanex but Fentanyl which is now believed to be added to many street drugs without the knowldege of its takers. Fentanyl mixed with any drugs is a disaster and I believe my brother had no knowledge of it being added to the pill he took. This is the 3rd year I have walked for my brother Kris. I do it for his honor, his memory, his story, and for myself. Please walk with me this year for my brother Kris.
