Connie dedicated 25 years of her life to volunteering with FriendshipWorks, where she served as Board President, guiding the organization with wisdom, compassion, and dedication. In fact, it was Connie who started FriendshipWorks’ Annual Walk to End Elder Isolation in 2015! Every year, Connie embarked on her fundraising efforts for FriendshipWorks, rallying support from friends, family, colleagues, business leaders, and community members. She took pride in being the top fundraiser each year, knowing that each dollar raised was a lifeline, a means to provide companionship, support, and dignity for those who may otherwise be feeling lonely or forgotten. Whether you were Connie’s friend, professional colleague, golf mate, or acquaintance, we invite you to celebrate the amazing person she was by walking with Team CPR on May 19, or by making a gift to FriendshipWorks to benefit the cause she was most passionate about – ending elder isolation in Boston.
