My name is Chase Maultsby and I adore animals, almost more than humans! Why? Animals are great listeners and I like getting to teach them new commands. Horses are my favorite animals because I believe they are one of a kind. They are fun, intelligent, smart, and talented. At four years old, after watching Spirit Riding Free; now my favorite books, I knew that I wanted to be a great equestrian. Since then, I have been riding horses for the last six years. Living in a city where you do not often see horses, I travel to Reddemeade Equine in Silver Spring, Maryland to ride weekly. Under the great coaching of Laurie Nesbitt,  even won my first Dressage show and I knew riding was my destiny.  When I'm not riding or daydreaming about riding, I enjoy swimming, spending time with family, cooking, playing with my dog Sam, and watching mystery tv. I'm very excited about this opportunity with MET and learning more about becoming an Equestrian.
