I'm thrilled to be running the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half on March 15, 2026 in Support Team Edible Schoolyard NYC. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly supports edible education for kids in NYC.

About Edible Schoolyard NYC

We’re Edible Schoolyard NYC, a nonprofit organization on a mission to make edible education accessible for every child in NYC. We believe edible education—where children experience hands-on cooking and gardening—helps them gain the skills to contribute to a healthy and sustainable food system for us all.

The challenge:

• Too many children do not regularly consume enough fruits and vegetables.
• Lower income neighborhoods and communities of color face increased challenges around access to healthy food.
• Open space and recreation areas can be scarce in NYC.

Through hands-on cooking and gardening classes, we support students in healthy eating, foster social emotional skills, promote academic growth, connect students to the environment and each other, and so much more.

Annually, our programs reach over 4,000 NYC students directly across over 30 public schools.

Your support gets kids planting in gardens and cooking in classrooms. Together we’re helping students build healthy relationships with food, their community, and their environment.

Here's how you can help:

• Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
• Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks.
• Watch Me Run: Cheer me on as I run with the ESYNYC team on March 15, 2025.

Thank you for your support!
