Our department is proud to participate in the 2024 FAER Academic Giving Competition (AGC), a chance to directly contribute to the future of anesthesiology by supporting early-career physician-investigators. With a fundraising goal of $20,000—matched by the department for a total contribution of $40,000—we are positioned to make a significant impact. FAER grants have already benefitted several of our faculty members, including Dr. Jacob M. Basak, Dr. Ana Fernandez-Bustamante, Dr. Vesna Jevtovic-Todorovic, Dr. Slobodan Todorovic, and Dr. Tobias Eckle. This competition highlights how we are actively shaping the future of research in our field.

Remember we can win the competition two ways - 

1. The more colleagues across our department who donate (at $20 or more) will help us win the largest percent of our department making donations. 

2. We can raise the most funds. 

We need to individually raise $20,000 to unlock the match. But anything above and beyond that puts us in the running for FAER competition prizes.
