30 miles in 30 Days!! 

This is my first year raising money! I get the honor of being Team Captian for FAM FEST, representing team PACE. Fam Fest is digital this year! that means we are doing a 30 day challenge to help raise money and to challenge ourselves! 

PACE

For those who do not know,  PACE is an NON PROFIT organization which helps to provide resources, community, and a place to escape for a weekend. It is a place those who are ages 18-25 and are living with Congenital Heart Disease. Congenital Heart Disease is any type of heart defect present at birth. PACE allows us to gather together and celebrate our uniquness and be a support for one another. 

Not only am I team captian but I get the honor of being a PACEMAKER as well. I get to help lead, plan, and facilitate workshops and other events for those in our community. ( just some of the awesome things which come with my role) 

A little about me:

I was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a common yet complex heart condition. I have had 3 open heart surgeries and 1 cathederization. I have attened both Camp Del Corazon as a child and now I am attending PACE as a leader to my peers.

camp del corazon is also a non profit organization and is considered our sister camp. Those who attend camp del corazon are children ages 7-17. I am also a camp counselor for this family too! when kids turn 17 they are not longer able to attend CDC but they join their peers at PACE. A little about PACE is written above!!
