Camp del Corazon?

Camp del Corazon (CdC) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides year-round experiential opportunities for children faced with the challenges of growing up and living with heart disease. CdC provides a residential summer camp experience for children ages 7-17 as well as programs that offer opportunities for growth, education and support for children, young adults and the families who are living with heart disease/Congenital Heart Defects (CHD).

Why is it important to me?

I was born with a complex congenital heart defect. Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS): a severe congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is underdeveloped. I have had 4 open heart surgeries and grew up with continual cardiac care with physical limitations as a child. 

FUNdraiser:

Due to COVID-19 our Family Fest Fundraiser event will go virtual this year and we're kicking off the month long event with our own 30 Day Challenge to raise funds for our non-profit Camp del Corazon and PACE program!

P.A.C.E.?

PACE, or Progressive Adult Congenital Experience, is a retreat style program for young adults, ages 18-25, with heart conditions who are looking to create a support network with people who face similar challenges in their lives, practice leadership skills that will help them make better life choices with CHD, build healthy lifestyle skills to support a healthy mind and body, and learn how to adult with a heart condition.
