Hello, everyone! It's that time of year again... Fundraising time for Camp del Corazoñ/ PACE.

As you probably already know, I was born with Long QT, which is a congenital heart disease (CHD). When I was younger, I wasn’t able to connect with others who understood multiple doctor visits, and gym class restrictions, until the summer of 2006. At a check up one day, I was blessed to hear about an AMAZING NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CALLED... CAMP DEL CORAZOÑ! It’s a camp located on Catalina Island for children 7-17 with CHD, and IT IS LIFE CHANGING! Now you might be wondering, Kathryn, you’re 26, so what’s the point?

I’m glad you asked! After you’ve transitioned off the island and are 18, you can be involved with PACE, which stands for Progressive Adult Cardiac Experience!

PACE is a community of young adults, ages 18-25, who do life together. Our main focus is to build a support system, and keep it going for our entire lifetime. We have a retreat each summer, along with other events throughout the year, and let me say; PACE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!! The people I’ve met are beautiful, and I am eternally grateful to be a part of this community. 

Even though I'm 26, and have graduated from the retreat, I would LOVE for YOU to help impact future generations through your donations!
