My name is Brandy - thanks for donating!

Last year, I was looking for a Covid-friendly volunteer opportunity so I joined the IAR feral feeding team.  My journey began in a Woodcroft neighborhood feeding 2 cats named Zeus and Cara.  Not only have I grown to love these kitties, I've made a few fabulous new friends in coordinating with the team that provides care at this site, and many more across Durham, 7 days a week!

These cats enjoy sheltered feeding stations and cozy houses filled with regularly replenished straw and blankets.  Zeus and Cara have been in the IAR network for many years - dearly loved and well cared for.

Over 5 weeks in March, we'll hit the trails for a 5k each week on a different local greenway.  Thanks for your donations to cheer us along!  We LOVE Independent Animal Rescue!
