Did you know half a million people rely on food provided by Northern Illinois Food Bank each year?

You can help me put food on their plates by donating to my Virtual Food Drive. The funds we raise together stay right here, in our backyard, and will provide nutritious food like fresh produce, protein, and milk to our hungry neighbors.

I am partnering with Charles Schwab's Season of Giving. The Barrington branch is in a friendly competition with surrounding branches to collect the most food. The top three branches with the most food collected (calculated by branch headcount and a pounds-per-person formula) will be awarded with a grant to their local food bank. Grants will be in the amount of $2,500, $1,000 or $500.

You can drop off any non-perishable food (not expired) in our office located at 100 W. Main St., Suite 100 Barrington, IL 60010.

The most needed items are: Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna/Chicken (in water), Whole Grain Pasta and Rice, Cereal and Oatmeal, Dried Beans and Lentils, Canned Fruits (in juice), Low/Reduced Sodium Soups, Sauces and Vegetables, Pasta Sauce, Spices and Seasonings.
