Whether you knew Julie as a dear friend, classmate, faculty or staff member, supervisor, or research partner, her impact remains deeply felt on our community. To honor her legacy and support a cause close to our hearts, we are gathering to participate in the Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse’s annual Footsteps for Healing Walk during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
We would love for you to join our team, Julie’s Angels, as we walk together in her memory. We also ask that you wear one of Julie's favorite colors: blush, emerald green or gold, so we can represent her energy, passion, and grace. Don't have one of those colors? Please, then wear purple, the symbol for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October).
We come together to participate in Footsteps for Healing 2026, a fundraiser supporting Tucson Center for Women and Children. Our collective passion for this cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
Here's how you can help:
- Donate: Contribute whatever you can. Every dollar counts!
- Spread the Word: Share our fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you so much for your support! We couldn’t do this without you!
