Adeline was born at 34 weeks due to a placental abruption after having spent most of my pregnancy in and out of the hospital and on bedrest. We learned of her diagnosis very early on at about 14 weeks. and at about 28 weeks we learned of her heart defect. After Adeline was out of the nicu she went into heart failure on Easter 2014. That next day she was admitted to children's hospital and spent a few days there getting meds to control the pressures in her heart. Adeline's journey up until heart surgery was tumultuous to say the least. But at 4.5 months it was time to have her surgery as her heart desperately need to be whole to function correctly. It took Adeline 2 weeks to recover from open heart surgery and in that time I have never witnessed such an amzing strong fighter and she was my daughter. She doesn't know this yet but she is my hero. What she withstood and how hard she had to fight to stay alive those first few months was nothing short of remarkable. 

Since then Adeline has continued to amaze and reach every goal that she has been faced with. 

This walk is a celebration of her and her journey she has walked in such a short time. I'm so proud and cannot wait to see you all there supporting this amazing little girl????
