"Freed to Run" is a six marathons in six days point to point relay, from Tallahassee to Jacksonville, courthouse to courthouse, with teams covering the distance by taking turns throughout the day.

Freed to Run raises money and awareness to support pediatric patients and their families in navigating legal obstacles that often impede their health outcomes. In just four years, this run has has helped Jacksonville Area Legal Aid raise over $1,500,000.

This year is the fifth annual run (third annual for me), and I along with the JALA Board of Directors will be running the third leg with Mike Freed on November 17th, from the Madison County Courthouse to the Suwanee County Courthouse, to support this great cause.

Your donation is tax-deductible and will go directly to an endowment for the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership, an initiative through which lawyers, doctors and health-care institutions work together to better the lives of children in Northeast Florida. The Baptist Health Foundation will match all donations by 125% up to $1.25 million.
