VyStar Credit Union's relay team is running across the state of Florida, from Tallahasse to Jacksonville...6 marathons in 6 days to raise money for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid. The funding will be used to continue JALA’s work through the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership (NFMLP). JALA partners with Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Wolfson Children’s Hospital, UF Health Specialty Pediatric Clinics and Community PedsCare to screen for and address health-harming civil legal aid needs in the pediatric patient population. The NFMLP serves more than 300 children per year, solving legal issues that impact their health care.

Donations go directly to Jacksonville Area Legal Aid’s endowment for the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership and are matched by the Baptist Health Foundation at 125 percent.
