We are hosting an event titled "Will Werk For Food" where we will have professional Chicago Footwork dancers come teach footwork and will also give the event attendees the opportunity to exchange moves and teach each other. There will also be time alloted for footwork cyphers and dance games. Admission to the event will be donated to the Northern Illinois Foodbank to help support foodbanks in the Joliet area.

The Food Bank has been responding to the increased need in our communities, which remains elevated due to the effects of the global pandemic. In their latest fiscal year (July 2020-June 2021), the Food Bank has helped provide over 100 million meals to the community!

Please join me in making a difference in the lives of the thousands of people in Northern Illinois who are hungry. The funds I raise will stay right here, in our backyard, and will fill an empty plate of a neighbor in need.
