Our Team Fundraising Page

Legal Aid is DC’s oldest and largest provider of free legal services to DC residents who can’t afford a lawyer. Legal Aid provides free legal services in fighting off eviction, an abusive spouse, or a predatory lender. It secures public benefits for clients who need them and firms up immigration status.

Our contributions make it happen. When the Generous Associates Campaign works, it raises 25% of Legal Aid’s operating budget.

We’re setting a goal of raising $3,000 for Legal Aid in one week to maximize donations and minimize distractions. Why $3,000? The need never ends and is in many ways getting worse. Legal Aid is a well-run organization that translates our donations into justice for its clients every day.
