All contributions will benefit Generation Schools Network as we continue to transform public education.  I am currently fundraising for one of our key initiatves: Social Emotional Learning. I began working with Generation Schools Network in 2013 when I began a community advocate. As a community advocate, I got to "adopt" a class of 6th graders in Denver, spending time with them each week getting to know their academic, social and personal struggles. I'll never forget being nicknamed "Girl on Fire" for my brightly colored hair, and receiving hugs every time I entered the school, even outside of Advocacy time.
