This year, I’ll be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of Good Grief, an organization that helps children and families navigate the loss of a loved one.
Good Grief is especially meaningful to me because I experienced their support firsthand. When my dad passed away unexpectedly in 2008, my family and I turned to Good Grief during one of the most difficult times in our lives. At the time, I was the only thirteen year old I knew who had lost a parent. Good Grief helped me realize that I wasn’t alone. Being surrounded by other kids my age who were going through the same thing made me feel understood.
Now, years later, I have the opportunity to give back to an organization that was there for my family.
My goal is to raise $3,500 for Good Grief, and I’d be so grateful for your support! Every contribution makes a difference and helps Good Grief continue providing a safe and supportive community for children and families experiencing loss.
