I joined Girls Gotta Run Foundation as Executive Director just over a year ago. Access to education was the biggest turning point in my own life. It shaped how I see the world, how I carry myself, and it gave me confidence, choices, and opportunities. I believe every girl deserves that same access.
International Day of the Girl (October 11) is about recognizing the rights of girls and making sure their voices are heard. It also reminds us of the barriers they still face — from limited access to school to the pressure of early marriage.
