How to Register as an INDIVIDUAL

Step 1 - Select “Register” at the top of the menue or the button below.

Step 2 - Select register “As an Individual.”

Step 3 - Set a fundraising stretch goal (any amount above $100.)

Step 4 - Fill in your personal information, register your dog* (if applicable), and review the terms and conditions.

You can also register another participant on their behalf (please note this participant will need to sign a waiver at registration on the event day).

Step 5 - Optional: kick-start your fundraising by making a donation (donations over $20.00 are receiptable).

Step 6 - Create a password and activate your account! 

Step 7 - Personalize your fundraising page to raise more donations by sharing why the Guelph Humane Society and animal welfare is important to you.

*If your dog is attending, please review the “Dog Participation Guidelines” in the top menu.

Tips and tricks to help you become the top dog!

Start early so you can give people ample time to donate.

Email anyone across Canada friends, family, and colleagues your fundraising page.

Use social media to reach out to your online social network. Share once a week for the best results.

Send thank you emails to your supporters.

Employers sometimes donate employee fundraising initiatives for your community. Ask your employer or HR department on what could be available.

Follow the Guelph Humane Society on social media and share our posts so that your supporters become familiar with what we do.

Step 1 - Select “Register” in the top menu.

Step 2 - Select “Join or Start a Team” and “Start a New Team.”

Step 3 - Pick a fun name for your team and set a fundraising stretch goal (pre-set as $1000.)

Step 4 - Fill out your personal information, register your dog* (if applicable), and review the terms and conditions.

Step 5 - Optional: kick-start your fundraising by making a donation (donations over $20.00 are receiptable).

Step 6 - Create a password and activate your account!

Step 7 - Personalize your team page to raise more donations by sharing why the Guelph Humane Society and animal welfare is important to you.

Step 8 - Invite others to join your team through the “Register” button in the top menu.

COLLECTING DONATIONS OFFLINE AND IN PERSON?

If you wish to fundraise and register offline please download the waiver and pledge form HERE.

How to Register as an Offline INDIVIDUAL or TEAM.

Step 1 – please contact events@guelphumane.ca to inform us that you will be registering as an offline individual or team participant.

*Please inform us if you are bringing a dog(s) and what your t-shirt size is.

Step 2 – Fill out the pledge form that must be submitted upon check-in registration on event day (Sunday June 4th).

Step 3 – Fill in the waiver and present it with your pledge kit at registration check-in on event day (Sunday June 4th).

Step 4 – Optional: kick-start your fundraising by making a donation (donations over $20.00 are receiptable).
