Gilda's Run/Walk 2026

In November 2025, I was diagnosed with breast cancer: Stage 0 Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS) and Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. What followed was a journey I never expected to take, including a lumpectomy in February 2026 and a double mastectomy in May 2026. My cancer is hormone-positive, which means my treatment and survivorship journey will continue for years to come.

One of the greatest sources of support throughout this experience has been Gilda's Club. I found Gilda's Club in the early days following my diagnosis and continue to rely on its programs regularly. Whether it's a peer support group, educational resources, or creative social gatherings, Gilda's Club provides something that is often hard to find after a cancer diagnosis—a sense of normalcy. It's a place where I feel seen, heard, understood, and connected with others who truly relate to what I'm going through.

That's why I'm raising funds for Gilda's Club. Their services are offered completely free of charge to anyone impacted by cancer. They provide emotional support, cancer education, and hope to children and adults living with any type of cancer, as well as the family members and caregivers who support them.

My fundraising goal is $2,000, and every donation helps ensure that these life-changing programs remain available to others facing cancer.
