Dennis and I are walking in the Gildas House Run/Walk event. There is nothing more life-altering than being diagnosed with cancer. It's a moment in life that you never forget; in 2006 Dennis faced this challenge. I (Pam) was diagnosed with stage 4 Head/Neck cancer. With the help of the University Hospital Oncology department, chemo, and radiation, I survived. Gildas House opened up shortly after I was diagnosed, but I can imagine that it would have been an amazing resource to us.
