We are nearing completion of construction on the first house and with another team have met the goal for building 3 houses in Haiti. Additional donations will go to Nicaragua or where most needed,
I chose Haiti because we haven't been able to travel there in the last couple of years and we know that our team in Pignon will do a good job of choosing a family in need, build a great house, and report back to us.

- Pledge to walk / run / bike as part of your fundraising effort.
This is an unusual time. We're stuck at home, isolated, and feeling a bit vulnerable to a serious infectious disease for the first time. How will we respond?
I'm choosing to join an online community through which to stay active and address one of the largest causes of endemic diseases around the world: poor shelter. We're collectively undertaking 50,000 miles to virtually traverse the globe -- 80 countries in 80 days -- and raise at least $200,000, with your help.
The work of The Fuller Center for Housing seeks to address these issues. It's an ecumenical Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping families of all backgrounds have decent, healthy homes in 70 communities around the USA and in 19 countries around the world. With the devastating loss of volunteer trips and fundraising events, all at a time when people are being told to 'stay in your homes,' this support is needed now more than ever.
Fuller Center families put in sweat equity for their homes, and pay it forward with a no-profit, no-interest loan. I have a personal goal of walking and biking 500 miles over the 80 days of the challange.
