I have decided to take part in GloriDays and make a difference for those touched by breast cancer. My friend, co-worker and Team 306 Captain is a breast cancer survivor. Team 306 represents the 306 days she spent last year from her initial MRI to her last radiation treatment fighting this battle. Along with Team 306, we will walk 24 miles over two days. Twenty-four miles may seem long and hard to accomplish but it is nothing compared to what she has walked through. Each step of the way, we will be thinking about our loved family and friends that have been touched by this disease and either lost the battle, are fighting fearlessly, or are survivors.
The funds raised will support the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation (90% of funds raised supports education, wellness resources, and survivorship programs in our local community).
