Kick Cancer!

Cancer does not care who you are.  Cancer does not care about the color of your skin or your ethnicity.  Cancer does not care about your age or sex.  Cancer does not care if you are rich or poor.   Cancer is one of the most equal-opportunity diseases in the U.S. and quite frankly, the entire planet.  Cancer took my Dad from me when I was 8 years old.  Most people can talk about someone they know that has lost a cancer battle.  Just a few years ago, our community, and the Newton Soccer Program, lost Sierra Flanary to her pediatric cancer.  She was a member of the Lady Indian's Soccer team and we have a tree planted at the field to honor her memory.  Thankfully, there are victories over cancer as well.    I regularly give to Cancer-fighting charities and research programs and feel that Go4TheGoal Foundation has a mission we can get behind.  This program provides financial assistance for kids fighting cancer right now.  I think the disease is bad enough with the financial toll it takes on families as well.

We will be showing our solidarity on August 13th as a team with gold laces to honor our common cause to fight pediatric cancer.  Every child should get to grow up!  I hate cancer and would love to see the day when it is eliminated as a killer in the U.S.  Join us in this fight with your donation.  Help us provide much needed assistance for a kid going through this right now!  I have set modest targets hoping that we can blow these goals out of the water.  With your support this can happen.
