I am excited play in this years golf marathon challenge! It has been a year of challenges but challenge has made all of us here at Lakeshore Pregnancy Center even more determined to love more fully and save more lives. 

As the Executive Director of Lakeshore Pregnancy Center, I want to lead the way in reaching our Golf Marathon fundraising goal of $100,000. It is a lofty but not impossible goal! My personal goal is $50,000. Again, lofty but not impossible with generous friends like you.

My nephew Lenny will be golfing with me. You see, Lenny was my first experience with an unplanned pregnancy. At 18 years old my sister left our home and headed off to college. Three weeks later she discovered that she was pregnant and was “counseled” to abort her child. “This will allow you to go on with your life,” they said.  She knew “going on” with her life meant ending her child’s life. So with both fear and great courage, she called home to tell our parents the news.

Their response was life-giving. 

“Just come home honey. We will figure this out.” 

Today Lenny is a businessman, husband, and father of three. Lenny and I will golf for life on September 18th. Will you join us and help save the lives of a new generation of “Lenny’s”?
