Amazing women have come together to not only support but also show up and BUILD! We will be on .site on April 29th to help finish two homes! I have always wanted to be part of habitat and it just never manifested until now. Carla Hogan is a wonderous woman! When I met her I knew she was something really special so when she asked me to be a part of her team. I said YES! I am having a blast asking my friends in the Orlando area to come out and have fun with raising funD$! We are having Bowling fund raiser on March 19th. March 19th, would be my second daughter, Sarah's 25th birthday. She unfortunately passed in 1998 from a crib death. Just stopped breathing. She was successfully resuscitated but the brain damage was too severe for her to sustain life without major medical intervention. So we removed life support and she passed in my arms with all my angels around us at Stanford Childrens Hospital in Palo Alto. So in celebration of her 25th birthday I am joining the ranks of the wondrous women that have come before me to assist in raising $25,000 for the cause in honor of families that have gone through difficult times. This program requires the receivers of the home to put in their sweat equity to their homes and they are supported to ensure they can keep and maintain the home. They learn the skills to qualify for the mortgage, by improving their credit scores. I am learning more and more each day.
