Welcome to The B's Knees 2020 HACA Walk Page! We are excited to walk again to raise funds for the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Lake Accotink Park in Springfield, Virginia . Things will be a little different this year due to Covid-19. At this point, there will be a limit of 40 in-person walkers at the park. All others will be virtual walkers walking in your neighborhoods or communities. A $10 registration fee will be charged per adult which will defray the cost of the chapter sending out your walk goodies to include the HACA walk t-shirts. Our team will still wear our team t-shirts. If you were unable to walk with us last year, but are on our team, I still have shirts for you. If Virginia goes to Phase 3, the number of in-person walkers will likely change. Stay tuned!
We are excited to walk for HACA to raise funds for the bleeding disorders community in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Funds raised are important to assist in providing many services to our community members to include scholarships, education, advocacy, research, support groups, financial assistance and more.
