As the founding Board Chair of Horizons Greater Philadelphia, I’ve had the privilege of watching this organization grow from an idea into a network of programs serving hundreds of students and families across our region.

What drew me to Horizons from the beginning was the belief that every child deserves access to joyful, high-quality learning experiences — not just during the school year, but throughout the summer months as well. For many families, opportunities like academic enrichment, swimming, arts programming, field trips, and individualized support are simply out of reach financially. Horizons helps make those experiences possible.

Today, Horizons programs across Greater Philadelphia are helping students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, discover new interests, and form long-term relationships with caring adults and peers. And we’re continuing to grow so that even more young people can access these opportunities in the years ahead.

This month, I’m proud to support Horizons Giving Day with a goal of raising $7,500 to help expand this work.

Giving Day takes place on May 13, but gifts made throughout the month of May count toward the campaign. Every contribution helps support students this summer and beyond.
