As the school year wraps up, Horizons Atlanta at Holy Innocents’ is preparing for another life-changing summer program for local students — and I’m asking for your support today on Giving Day.
Horizons students attend Fulton County public schools and qualify for free and reduced lunch programs. Through academic support, swim lessons, meals, and social-emotional learning, Horizons helps students grow in both confidence and academics during the summer months.
I became involved with Horizons two years ago and quickly saw the incredible impact this program has on these kids. Horizons students gain an average of 6–10 weeks in reading and math skills each summer, helping prevent summer learning loss and create lasting opportunities.
I’m especially excited that Grayson will be volunteering with Horizons this summer and will have the opportunity to spend time with these wonderful kids and be part of making their experience so meaningful.
