Kidsave’s Weekend Miracles program helps older kids and teens in foster care (ages 9‐18) find host families, permanent families, and devoted mentors. These children have spent years in the child welfare system. They are languishing in foster care with little hope for adoption, or a lasting connection with a caring adult. Weekend Miracles provides these children with opportunities to meet people who might be willing to host, mentor or adopt them. In Los Angeles, our Kidsave Hike with Your Heart is part of this program, bringing kids and the community together, creating and reinforcing connections between prospective hosts, mentors or adoptive families and the Kidsave Kids, creating connections between the community and Kidsave, creating connections between the kids and community and hiking in LA, and raising money to support this amazing organization.

We have expanded our Kidsave’s Hike with Your Heart to the Bay Area, Houston and Washington D.C., with each supporting all of Kidsave’s amazing programs, including:

Our Hike with Your Heart creates a great opportunity for you to support Kidsave's amazing work. It also provides an opportunity join our team to participate in the hike and be inspired. Our hike creates a unique opportunity to get close to and participate in Kidsave’s work.
