We’re Hiking for Hope — Join Our Family!

This year, our family is Hiking for Hope for Kidsave — and we would love for our family and friends to be part of it with us.

Kidsave’s mission is especially close to our hearts. Every child deserves to grow up knowing they have people in their corner — people who show up, believe in them, celebrate them, and give them the love, stability, and sense of belonging every child deserves.

That’s why we’re putting on our hiking shoes and hitting the trail together!

We’re asking you to support us in one of two ways:

Join our team and hike with us! Come spend the day with our family, get outside, have some fun, and help us hike for a purpose.

Make a donation in honor of our family’s hike. Every gift — big or small — helps Kidsave connect children and teens in foster care and orphanages with caring adults who can become mentors, advocates, and permanent family.

Why We’re Hiking

There are hundreds of thousands of children in foster care in the U.S. and millions more living in foster care and orphanages around the world. Older kids, in particular, are too often overlooked and can grow up without the lasting family connections so many of us take for granted.

We want to help change that.

Through programs like Weekend Miracles and Summer Miracles, Kidsave creates opportunities for kids to meet adults in a natural, welcoming environment and build real relationships. Sometimes that connection becomes a mentor. Sometimes it becomes an advocate. And sometimes, it becomes a forever family.

For our family, this hike is about more than reaching the end of a trail. It’s about helping more kids reach something much bigger: connection, belonging, and hope for their future.
