I serve on the Strategic Planning Committee, United Way of Los Angeles Board of Directors.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure all members of our community have safe, stable homes.
There are approximately 53,000 Los Angeleans who are currently experiencing homelessness.
My heart aches when I continuously see many in my LA community experiencing homelessness.
I hope you will join me or support our Avery Dennison team in this year's HomeWalk 5K Run/Walk on May 18th, 2019. Over the past number of years, more than 95,000 people have participated in this annual event. This year, the Los Angeles Rams are actively participating which should help raise even more awareness about this tragic situation.
HomeWalk faciliates the raising of funds used to transform the lives of many vulnerable adults and children who are experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County. Specifically, the funds are used for housing as well as for education and other activities that help people sustain their income and their homes.
HomeWalk has contributed towards providing the stability of housing to more than 19,000 people in LA County. Please help me make further progress.
