Hey everyone!  First I would like to thank you all for the enormous amount of support I have received since being diagnosed with ovarian cancer last fall. Whether it was prayers, good vibes, calls or messages, well wishes, meals, fundraiser donations or attendance, rides to appointments, and even those of you who found much pleasure in bossing me around for my own well-being, I think you all!!

Because of that overwhelming amount of support, I will say I'm almost feeling guilty about asking for more.   But, it is for a good cause and I did say "almost".  ?  I am participating in and ovarian cancer awareness 5K in September, HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer.  When you support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance through registration or a donation to my HOM Teal Strides page, you help fund critical research and programming for women and families (and friends!) impacted by ovarian cancer. 

I was very fortunate to have had this cancer discovered early, as ovarian is considered one of cancer's "silent killers" as it has sneaky little symptoms that mimic other issues. Early detection research is critical!

So if you are able and willing, please donate.  If you would like to participate, please join our team.  We are "Guardians of the Ovaries". If you always have wanted to be a cheerleader, come and cheer us on. The event is Saturday, Sept. 9th at Rosland Park in Edina. Starts at 8am.
