I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer 8 months ago, and currently there is no lab test to detect this- Only a CA125, which is not covered by insurance, unless there is specific symptoms, or other tests that lead your provider to request this test. I had symptoms, and was told I was experiencing menopause. Until, I had an Ultrasound and two masses were found- the CA125 was ordered. So my goal is to educate and be an advocate for our bodies, ladies. Know you body, and if you feel something is wrong, pursue it!!! Fight like He** to get tests. You could save your own life!Â
