Thanks for supporting me (and my mom) through your fundraising efforts.
Team "Mama Spiegs + Mama Margie" is meant to combine forces + family as we work together to fight this awful Cancer.
I was recently told by the staff at MOCA that our Team "Mama Spiegs + Mama Margie" is the largest fundraising team, with 46 members currently.
This means they would not only like to acknowledge our team during the program at 9:15am, but we have the honor of carrying the large MOCA banner to lead off the walk at 10:00am.
Although our plan was not to attend this event in 'memory of' my mom... we are grateful for the support of everyone on this year's team and know my mom would still want us to participate.
Whether you signed up for the run, walk, kids race or are just coming for the coffee + donuts... we will be excited to see you all and would love for you to join us for a group photo at 9am, the program at 9:15am & leading off the walk at 10am.
We will also have blankets and a few pop-up tents set up in the park where you can leave any extra items before the race. We will all gather around the tents at 9:00am, before the program to take a group photo and then gather afterwards for some coffee, donuts and fellowship.
