UPDATE FOR SATURDAY:
We recently were informed that Team "Mama Spiegs + Mama Margie" is the largest fundraising team this year with 50+ members and still rising!
This means we have the honor of being acknowledged during the program at 9:15am, but we also were asked to help carry the large MOCA banner to lead off the walk at 10:00am.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
7:30 AM Registration Begins
8:15 AM 5K Run Starts
9:00 AM Kids Fun Run Starts
9:00 AM GROUP PHOTO + Team Coffee + Donuts Available
9:15 AM HOM Teal Strides Program (our team will be recognized)
10:00 AM Our team will carry the MOCA Banner to lead off the walk
10:15 AM 2K Walk Starts
Whether you signed up for the run, walk, kids race or are just coming for the coffee + donuts... we will be excited to see you all and would love for you to join us for a group photo at 9am, the program at 9:15am & leading off the walk at 10am.
We will have blankets and a few pop-up tents set up in the park where you can leave any extra items before the race. We will all gather around the tents at 9:00am, before the program to take a group photo and then gather afterwards for some coffee, donuts and fellowship.

Team "Mama Spiegs" has been going strong at this event for the past 5 years.
But as we head into our 6th year, we are combining forces and welcoming Margie Dirks, AKA "Mama Margie" to our team.
Margie, is the mother of Susan's daughter-in-law (Katie - who's married to Aaron). Unfortunately, Margie found out this past month that she also has Ovarian Cancer and will be starting her own personal journey very soon.
Margie and her family have been huge supporters of team "Mama Spiegs" over the years. So although her participation is changing from "Supporter" to "Survivor" -- we are more than happy to welcome her, her family + friends to create one big family team this year!
This team and this event is meant to not only support Susan and Margie on their personal journeys, but to also support other Survivors, Previvors and Caretakers.
If you're able, we'd love for you to be with us physically on Sept 19 and if you can't, we understand and hope you're there with us in spirit. Together, we can raise $$ and awareness for this horrible Cancer.
