Stealth Spirit (pictured above) rides again this year supporting Hospice of the Upstate in any way it can! Last year we had a very spirited and spine tingling two-day race (30 mph windgusts, near collisions, etc. etc.), but my wonderful crew and I kept our eyes on the prize and placed third in our class from a field of @75!  This was a personal first. You might say a l'il bit o' crazy was unleashed in me, but after the many years I've supported this event, and in the course of my own personal experiences with those very near and dear to me who have since transitioned into my heart, I am each day in awe of what Hospice workers do to support our basic humanity all the way to the end. 

The Hospice of the Upstate provides end of life care for those without insurance who would otherwise not have this kind of support. Last year, my fundraising team, Women on the Water, came in first for money raised towards the overall donation of $135,000. This year we reach even higher, hoping to once again come in first towards the overall goal of $155,000. We have three weeks to go! Please contribute as you can - any little bit helps.
