When my sister, Sylvia Ahr, was diagnosed at the age of 60 years with ovarian cancer, I knew nothing about this cancer. I learned a lot in the five years that she fought her battle and have since made it my goal to share with others the symptoms of this silence cancer.

Sylvia lost her battle at the age of 65 and I have been walking yearly since; I have made friends at these walks and it brings healing to know that I can share her story!

And, if you are available, we would love to have you join our team and walk/run against this disease on Saturday, September 14, at Rosland Park in Edina. Also, following the walk, our team has lunch at the Tavern on France and we love to have you join us there as well.
