2. We have battled ovarian cancer. Tracy was diagnosed in 2016, Lu in 2017, and Alyce in 2018.

Over 90% of ovarian cancer diagnoses are at a late stage. Funds raised by the MN Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) are awarded to research grants for an early detection test, better treatments for women, and one day, a cure. Over time, MOCA has provided $8 Million in grants toward ovarian cancer research. In 2018 alone $775,000 was awarded.
