Fund A Need

Grocery Support - 1 Family

$25 ea.

Provides the UP Crisis Stabilization Team the ability to offer emergency food to a family of four in their time of crisis. This is supplemented with referrals and a potential exit strategy.

Crisis Care (1) Hour

$32 ea.

Provides the UP Crisis Stabilization Team one hour of time with clients and client families to bring stability in their time of crisis by offering community referrals, emergency food, and a potential exit strategy.

Job-Training Curriculum - (5) Sets

$40 ea.

Enables UP to provide job-readiness training curriculum to (5) students enrolled in the STEP Program for six weeks. The curriculum includes Emotional Intelligence, Workplace Skills and Job Acquisition. The student goal is job placement and long-term job retention. Once employed, the participant will work with a Success Coach to enhance job retention and career development for up to three years or until they reach self-sufficiency.

Job-Training Laptop - (1)

$329 ea.

Enables UP to provide a laptop for a student enrolled in the virtual job-readiness training program called STEP for six weeks with Emotional Intelligence, Workplace Skills and Job Acquisition. The goal is job placement and long-term job retention. Once employed, the participant will work with a Success Coach to enhance job retention and career development for up to three years or until self-sufficiency. Laptops will be loaded with only course curriculum, tagged and signed in/out by enrolled participants who have barriers getting to the campus such as transportation, childcare issues, health related issues, etc., so that they can participate in the program remotely.

Job-Training Class for (6) Weeks

$1,025 ea.
