It is incredibly important for us to actively participate in raising funds for CHD research. By establishing The Izak Szymczak Fund for Heart Research, and with your support, we will also be able to have a very important voice in selecting specific peer-reviewed research that we believe can make a big difference for Izak on his lifelong journey.
We will work very closely with The Children’s Heart Foundation, its Medical Advisory Council, and researchers as we discuss, review and select research for funding. We are excited about active involvement in this process!
We have raised $103,000 via this fund and have made our first request for research applications. Your support is invited, and is very critical, and will be greatly appreciated as we look to fund difference-making research for Izak. We will provide regular updates on this process so that you can understand how your support is helping to make a very big impact and difference.
